My story
(the nutshell version)

I began copywriting in Hong Kong in early 2020, but words have been my business since leaving university in 2005. Two degrees in English Literature (University of Cambridge) set me up for a portmanteau career in Film & TV and marketing - from developing new feature projects at Pixar Animation Studios, to advising some of the biggest brands in Pharmaceuticals as a market researcher.

While I've written my way across an eclectic mix of creative and commercial industries, the through-line has been simple: I love crafting a great story. I have a knack for learning my way into new sectors, and a turn of phrase I can turn to just about anything.

Every collaboration and project is different, but my basic mission is almost always the same: to free you up to get back to what you love.

Experience has taught me that talented people and businesses are generally too busy doing what they do to spend a lot of time talking about it (or worrying about sounding good when they do.) 

My idea of job satisfaction? Using my outsider's perspective to pin down what's great about you and the services you offer. And then helping you to articulate it in copy that speaks straight to the audience you deserve.
